Possible Causes

Severely scaled thermoblock or internal tubing, Malfunctioning flow meter, Incorrect descaling procedure, Control board calibration fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine before extended maintenance.

Deep descaling:

  • Use correct descaler: Only use Gorenje-approved or manufacturer-recommended descaling solution. Avoid vinegar, which can damage seals.
  • Repeat descaling: Run two full descaling cycles back-to-back, ensuring you follow the exact water and solution ratios in the manual.
  • Flush thoroughly: After descaling, run at least 1–2 full tanks of fresh water through the hot water and coffee circuits to remove residue.
  • Check flow meter: If the error persists, inspect and, if necessary, replace the flow meter, as incorrect pulse output can trigger E11.

Advanced: Some models require a service-level reset of the descaling counter via a hidden menu, which should be done by an authorized technician.
