Possible Causes
Scale buildup in heating block, Partially clogged outlet nozzle or showerhead, Debris in inlet screen, Weakening vibration pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and cool the unit before cleaning.
- Descale: Run at least one full descaling cycle with a vinegar-water solution, allowing soak time mid-cycle. Heavy buildup may require two cycles.
- Clean showerhead: Remove the brew basket and clean the water outlet holes or showerhead above it with a brush or toothpick to clear mineral deposits.
- Rinse reservoir and inlet: Clean the reservoir and its bottom valve/screen thoroughly.
- Test brew time: After descaling and cleaning, run a full pot of water and time the brew. If still abnormally slow, the pump may be weak and need replacement.
