Possible Causes
Cracked water reservoir, Worn reservoir O-ring or gasket, Loose or cracked internal silicone hose, Leaking heating block connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit immediately if you see water leaking near electrical parts. Do not use until the leak is resolved.
- Inspect reservoir: Remove the water tank, fill it over the sink, and check for cracks or leaks from seams. Replace if leaking.
- Check reservoir seal: Examine the rubber O-ring or gasket at the reservoir outlet. If flattened, cracked, or missing, replace the gasket.
- Look for external drips: With the reservoir installed, watch the base area while adding water to see if water appears around the docking port.
- If leak is internal: Water emerging from vents or the bottom plate usually indicates an internal hose or heating block leak. The unit must be opened and the leaking hose or fitting replaced and re-clamped.
