Possible Causes

Drip tray full or not seated, Drip tray level float stuck, Internal hose leak into tray, Drip tray sensor failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine before removing the drip tray or opening any covers.

  • Empty and clean drip tray: Remove the drip tray and coffee grounds container. Empty, wash, and dry them thoroughly.
  • Check float movement: Inside the drip tray, locate the plastic float that triggers the level sensor. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck with coffee residues.
  • Inspect seating: Reinsert the drip tray fully until it clicks. Misalignment can cause the sensor to misread the level.
  • Check for internal leaks: With the tray removed, look inside the cavity for signs of water trails or dripping hoses. If you see active leaking when the machine runs, stop using it and seek service.
  • Test again: After cleaning and reseating, plug in and run a rinse cycle. If E07 returns with an empty tray, the level sensor or its wiring may need replacement.
