How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before removing the brew group.
- Remove and reinstall brew group: Take out the brew group, check that it is not damaged, then reinstall it firmly until it locks.
- Clean sensor area: Inside the machine, locate the area where the brew group engages. Remove any coffee grounds or debris that may block the sensor or actuator.
- Run self-test: Plug in the machine and power on. Allow it to complete the startup cycle. If E14 appears again, avoid forcing the brew group.
- Service if needed: The home position switch or drive cam may be worn or broken and should be replaced by a technician.
