Possible Causes
Bean hopper empty or bridging, Oily beans sticking to hopper walls, Grinder inlet blocked, Grinder burrs worn
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before reaching into the bean hopper.
- Refill beans: Ensure the hopper has enough beans and they are not stuck together.
- Stir beans: Gently stir the beans with a dry spoon to break any bridges.
- Avoid very oily beans: Use medium-roast beans rather than very dark, oily ones that can stick.
- Clean hopper and inlet: Empty the hopper and wipe it with a dry cloth. Use a vacuum to remove fines from the grinder inlet.
