Water leaks from around the brew basket area during brewing.

Adjust brewing setup:

• Use a medium grind coffee, not espresso-fine.
• Do not exceed the recommended number of scoops for your basket size.
• Ensure the paper filter is properly seated and not folded over.

Clean and inspect basket:

• Remove the brew basket and clean the outlet hole and drip stop mechanism thoroughly.
• Inspect any rubber gasket around the basket outlet and replace if cracked or deformed.

If leaks persist with proper loading and a clean basket, the basket assembly or its gasket may need replacement.
