Possible Causes
Scale buildup in heater tube, Clogged inlet screen in reservoir base, Partially blocked filter basket outlet, Weak or failing vibration pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and let the unit cool before cleaning.
- Clean reservoir and inlet: Remove the reservoir and rinse thoroughly. Clean the outlet valve and any mesh screen with a soft brush.
- Descale thoroughly: Run at least two full descaling cycles with a 1:1 vinegar and water solution, followed by 2–3 rinse cycles with clean water.
- Check filter basket: Ensure the drip hole at the bottom of the basket is clear. Remove any paper filter fragments or coffee sludge.
- Test with water only: Run a water-only cycle without coffee to see if the volume improves. If not, the pump or internal tubing may be restricted.
Persistent low volume after descaling suggests a failing pump or severe internal blockage that may require disassembly.
