Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before opening any panels.

Check placement: Ensure the coffee maker is on a stable, level surface and not touching other appliances or walls that can amplify vibration.
Descale: Run a descaling cycle to reduce cavitation noise caused by mineral buildup.
Inspect pump mounts (advanced): Remove the bottom cover (unplugged) and check that the pump is firmly secured in its rubber mounts. Re-seat any loose mounts and ensure hoses are not rubbing against the housing.
Look for foreign objects: Shake the unit gently (unplugged) to listen for loose internal parts that may be rattling.

If the pump remains excessively noisy, it may be wearing out and require replacement.
