• Follow official descale procedure: Perform the full descale cycle exactly as described in the Insignia manual, including any button combinations required to start and end the cycle.
• Run extra rinse cycles: After descaling, run several full reservoirs of clean water to ensure sensors see normal flow.
• Manual reset: Some models require holding a specific button (e.g., clean or brew) for several seconds to clear the indicator. Check your manual.
• Inspect flow sensor (advanced): On models with a flow meter, ensure the sensor wheel spins freely and is not obstructed by debris.

If the clean indicator will not clear, the control board or flow sensor may be faulty but the machine can often still be used if performance is normal.
