How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before removing covers.
- Confirm feature: Ensure the keep-warm function is enabled and that the model actually has a warming plate (some single-serve units do not).
- Check immediately after brew: Carefully feel near (not on) the plate right after brewing. If it is completely cool, the heater is not energizing.
- Internal test (advanced): With the base removed (unplugged), test continuity of the warming plate heater and thermostat. Replace any open components.
If the heater and thermostat test good, the control board relay or triac controlling the plate may have failed.
