Incorrect Brew Temperature or Flow Rate
Brewed coffee is weak or watery even when using normal amounts of coffee grounds.

Possible Causes
Heater not reaching proper temperature, Water bypassing grounds due to misaligned spray head, Too fast flow through basket, Coarse grind size
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before internal inspection.
- Adjust coffee grind and dose: Use a medium grind and ensure you are using the recommended amount of coffee per cup.
- Check brew temperature: Use a food thermometer to measure coffee temperature in the carafe immediately after brewing. It should typically be around 190–200°F (88–93°C). If significantly lower, the heater may be underperforming.
- Inspect spray head: Remove and clean the showerhead/spray nozzle above the basket. Ensure all holes are clear for even distribution.
- Descale: Scale can reduce heater efficiency. Run a descaling cycle to restore proper temperature.
