Possible Causes
Failing power supply capacitor on control board, Loose neutral or line connection, Partially broken power cord, Overloaded outlet or power strip
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before opening the housing. Avoid touching live circuits.
- Try a different outlet: Plug the coffee maker directly into a known-good wall outlet (no power strip). Avoid sharing with high-draw appliances.
- Inspect power cord: Flex the cord gently along its length and near the plug. If the display flickers when the cord is moved, replace the cord set.
- Check internal connections: Remove the bottom or rear cover and inspect the line and neutral connections to the control board. Tighten any loose spade or screw terminals.
- Control board inspection: Look for bulging or leaking capacitors on the board. If present, the board should be replaced as a complete assembly.
