Coffee maker drips coffee very slowly or brews much longer than normal.

Safety first: Unplug and allow the machine to cool before maintenance.

• Descale: Run a full descaling cycle using a Kenwood-approved descaler. This often restores normal flow.
• Clean filter and basket: Wash the filter basket and any permanent filter thoroughly. Replace paper filters each brew.
• Clean showerhead: On some Kenwood filter models, you can remove the plastic showerhead above the filter. Rinse and clear any blocked holes with a brush.
• Repeat if needed: For heavily scaled machines, a second descaling cycle may be necessary.
