Possible Causes
Ground coffee chute clogged with oily coffee, Foreign object blocking chute, Moisture causing clumping
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before accessing the grinder area.
- Empty beans: Remove beans from the Kenwood hopper and vacuum out loose grounds.
- Access chute: On many bean-to-cup models, you can access the grind chute by removing the brew group and looking up towards the grinder outlet. Use a small brush to loosen compacted grounds.
- Avoid water: Do not use water inside the grinder or chute; moisture will cause further clumping.
- Test with small dose: Refill with a small amount of beans and test. Use fresh, not overly oily beans.
