Possible Causes

Clogged exit needle, Blocked K-Cup holder, Severe scale in internal lines, Failing pump under load

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the brewer and allow it to cool before cleaning needles.

  • Clean exit and entrance needles: Remove the K-Cup holder. Use a straightened paper clip to gently clear the holes in the top and bottom needles. Rinse the holder under warm water.
  • Run water-only cycles: With no K-Cup inserted, run several brew cycles to flush debris.
  • Descale: If flow is still poor, perform a full descale with solution to clear internal mineral blockages.
  • Listen to pump: If the pump hums but no water moves even after cleaning and descaling, the pump may be failing and require replacement.
  • Do not force objects deep into needles: This can damage seals and internal tubing.
