Possible Causes

Very hard water causing rapid scale buildup, Incomplete flushing after descale, Partially clogged internal tubing, Flow meter misreading volume

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the brewer before moving or tilting it.

  • Use filtered or softened water: Switch to bottled, filtered, or softened water to reduce mineral deposits that trigger frequent descaling.
  • Perform an extended descale: Run two full descale cycles back-to-back using descaling solution, then flush with at least two full reservoirs of clean water.
  • Clean exit needle and K-Cup holder: Remove the K-Cup holder and clean the top and bottom needles with a paper clip and running water to improve flow.
  • Check for kinks in tubing (advanced): If comfortable, remove the top cover (with power unplugged) and visually inspect silicone hoses for kinks or sharp bends that could reduce flow.
  • Persistent frequent alerts: The flow meter may be out of calibration and require replacement by a technician.
