• Descale thoroughly: Run at least one full descaling cycle with solution to remove scale from the heater tank, which can slow heating.
• Avoid cold reservoir refills: Use room-temperature water instead of very cold water to reduce reheating time.
• Check outlet voltage (advanced): Have an electrician verify that the outlet provides proper voltage (typically 120V in North America). Low voltage can slow heating.
• Persistent slow heating after descaling: The heater or thermistor may be degrading. Replacement of the heater tank assembly is typically required and is best done by a technician.
