Short Brew Time / Incorrect Water-to-Coffee Ratio
Coffee tastes weak or watery even when using normal amounts of coffee.

Possible Causes
Incorrect brew strength setting, Water bypassing grounds due to channeling, Showerhead not distributing evenly, Grind too coarse
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Check settings:
- Ensure the brew strength is set to regular or bold as desired on your KitchenAid model.
Adjust grind and dose:
- Use a medium grind suitable for drip coffee.
- Increase the amount of coffee grounds slightly if needed.
Clean showerhead and basket:
- Clean the showerhead to ensure even water distribution over the grounds.
- Ensure the filter basket is level and not warped.
If water is visibly bypassing the grounds or pooling on one side, replacing the showerhead or brew basket may improve extraction.
