Possible Causes

Empty or improperly seated reservoir, Clogged inlet screen, Scale buildup in pump or heater, Air in water line after reservoir refill

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Check reservoir:

  • Fill the reservoir above the minimum line and ensure it is fully seated.
  • Verify there are no cracks or leaks in the reservoir that could cause loss of prime.

Clear inlet screen:

  • Remove the reservoir and inspect the inlet screen or filter on the machine side. Rinse under water and brush gently if clogged.

Prime the pump:

  • Fill the reservoir completely, then start a brew cycle without a pod or coffee.
  • If no water flows, stop the cycle, remove and reseat the reservoir, and try again 2–3 times to purge air.

Descale:

  • Run a descaling cycle to remove scale from the pump and heater.

If the H2O error persists, the pump or flow sensor may be failing and should be inspected or replaced.
