Water leaks from around the top lid or overflows from the brew basket.

Possible Causes
Too fine coffee grind or overfilled basket, Clogged showerhead or spray plate, Misaligned brew basket, Faulty drip stop not opening fully
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Adjust coffee load:
- Use the recommended amount of coffee grounds and avoid overfilling the basket.
- Use a medium grind suitable for drip coffee; espresso-fine grinds can cause overflow.
Clean showerhead:
- Remove the brew basket and, if possible, the showerhead or spray plate.
- Soak in warm soapy water and use a brush or toothpick to clear clogged holes.
Check basket fit:
- Ensure the brew basket is fully inserted and level.
If overflow continues with proper coffee load and a clean showerhead, inspect and replace the brew basket/drip stop assembly if it is not opening correctly.
