Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before removing the control panel.
Dry and reset:
- If the panel got wet (cleaning spray, steam), leave the machine unplugged for 24 hours in a dry room to allow moisture to evaporate.
- After drying, reconnect power and test.
Inspect connections (advanced):
- Remove the top or front cover to access the display/keypad board.
- Carefully unplug and replug the flat ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB.
- Check for corrosion or burnt spots on the boards.
If the keypad membrane or touch panel is defective, replace the entire control panel assembly. If the main PCB is damaged, it will also need replacement.
