Possible Causes
Clogged drip-stop valve, Coffee grounds blocking outlet, Misaligned filter basket, Broken drip-stop spring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine and let it cool. Hot coffee can cause burns.
Clear the outlet:
- Remove the filter basket and discard the used filter and grounds.
- Rinse the basket under warm water, paying special attention to the outlet hole and drip-stop mechanism.
- Operate the drip-stop plunger by hand to ensure it moves freely.
Check alignment:
- Reinstall the basket, ensuring it is fully seated and correctly oriented.
- Verify that the carafe lid properly pushes up the drip-stop valve when in place.
If the drip-stop valve or spring is damaged, replace the filter basket assembly.
