How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug before cleaning internal brew components.

Brewing adjustments:

Use a finer grind suitable for drip coffee (but not espresso-fine to avoid overflow).
Increase the coffee dose according to Klarstein's recommendations.
Ensure the strength setting is correctly selected on the control panel.

Clean water distribution:

Remove and clean the shower head or water outlet above the filter basket to ensure even wetting of the grounds.
Descale the machine to restore proper temperature and flow.

If the strength selector or control board is not adjusting brew time, the control PCB may need replacement.

Klarstein coffee maker produces weak coffee even at maximum strength setting.
