Possible Causes
Water tank not seated correctly, Water tank magnet or float stuck, Water level sensor failure on base, Connector or PCB sensor circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before inspecting parts. Never work on the machine while it is connected to mains power.
- Check water tank seating: Remove the water tank completely and reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is fully down on the base contacts or alignment rails.
- Inspect water level float: Look inside the L’OR water tank for the small plastic float (often with a magnet). Make sure it moves freely up and down. If stuck, rinse the tank with warm water and mild detergent, then move the float gently with a non‑metallic tool.
- Clean tank sensor area: On the machine base where the tank sits, wipe the sensor area and any metal contacts with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
- Reset the machine: With the tank refilled and properly seated, plug the machine back in and power it on. Wait 30–60 seconds, then try a rinse or espresso cycle.
- If E01 persists: The internal water level sensor or main control PCB may be faulty. Do not open the housing unless you are qualified; contact an authorized L’OR service center.
