Possible Causes

Blocked flow meter, Limescale in hydraulic circuit, Flow meter wiring harness loose, Failed flow meter sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the machine and allow it to cool before any work.

  • Run a descaling cycle: If the machine can still start, fill the L’OR water tank with descaling solution according to the manual and run a full descaling program. This can clear partial blockages affecting the flow meter.
  • Check for kinks in inlet hose (internal): If you are experienced and the warranty has expired, remove the top cover (screws usually under the water tank and drip tray). Inspect the silicone hose from the pump to the flow meter and from the flow meter to the heater for kinks or pinches.
  • Inspect flow meter connections: Locate the small plastic flow meter in the hydraulic line. Ensure the electrical connector is fully seated and wires are not damaged.
  • Flush the system: Reassemble, refill the tank, and run several rinse cycles without a capsule to flush air and debris.
  • If E02 remains: The flow meter itself is likely defective and should be replaced by a technician.
