Possible Causes
Blocked ventilation, Thermostat malfunction, Thermoblock overheating due to scale, Faulty cooling or standby control on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the machine immediately if it shuts down due to overheating.
- Allow full cooling: Let the machine cool for at least 45–60 minutes before attempting to restart.
- Improve ventilation: Ensure there is at least several centimeters of clearance around the L’OR coffee maker, especially at the back and sides. Do not operate it in a closed cabinet.
- Descale: Run a complete descaling cycle to improve heat transfer and reduce thermoblock stress.
- Restart: Plug in and power on. If E08 reappears quickly, the thermostat or thermal sensor may be defective.
- Do not bypass thermal cut‑outs: Replacement of thermostats or thermal fuses must be done with correct parts by a professional.
