Machine emits a sour or rancid smell from the coffee outlet or drip tray.

Possible Causes

Dirty drip tray, Old coffee residues in spout, Stagnant water in internal lines, Dirty capsule container

Safety: Use food‑safe cleaners; avoid harsh chemicals inside the drink path.

Deep clean drip tray: Remove and wash the L’OR drip tray and capsule container with hot soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
Clean spout and brew head: Wipe with a damp cloth and run multiple rinse cycles.
Leave open to dry: When not in use, leave the capsule lever slightly open to allow ventilation.
Regular maintenance: Clean these components weekly to prevent odors.
