How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep the machine on a stable surface; avoid running the pump dry for long periods.
Step 1 – Check tank and seating
- Fill the water tank completely.
- Reinsert it firmly to ensure the valve opens.
Step 2 – Purge air
- Start a hot-water cycle without a capsule.
- If no water flows, stop after 10 seconds and wait 30 seconds; repeat several times to help the pump prime.
- Tilt the machine slightly backward during priming to help air escape.
Step 3 – Inspect suction hose (advanced)
- Unplug and remove the cover.
- Check the hose from the tank connection to the pump for cracks or loose clamps.
- Replace any damaged hose and secure with proper clamps.
Step 4 – Flowmeter check
- Ensure the flowmeter is not blocked and its connector is secure.
When to seek service
- If E04 persists and the pump cannot prime, the pump or flowmeter may need replacement by a technician.
