Possible Causes
Faulty brew microswitch or button, Broken wire from switch to control board, Failed input circuit on main board, Software lockout due to low water
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before accessing switches or boards.
- Check water and alarms: Ensure the water tank is full and correctly seated and that no water-level alarm is active.
- Test other functions: See if steam or hot water functions work. If only brew is affected, suspect the brew switch circuit.
- Inspect brew button: On panel-button models, remove the front panel and check the brew button PCB for cracks or loose connectors.
- Test microswitch (lever models): On lever-operated Lelits, verify that the lever actuates the microswitch. Adjust or replace the brew microswitch if it does not click reliably.
- Board input: If the switch works but the board does not respond, the main control board may need service.
