Possible Causes
Blown main fuse on Lelit control board, Faulty power switch, Damaged power cord or plug, Tripped household circuit or RCD
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before any inspection. Never work on live mains circuits.
- Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers or RCDs.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, replace the power cord rather than attempting a repair.
- Test power switch: Ensure the main rocker switch is firmly in the ON position. On models with two switches (main and coffee/steam), both may need to be ON.
- Internal fuse: Remove the top or bottom cover and locate the main fuse near the power entry or on the control board. If blown, replace only with the same rating and type. If it blows again immediately, there is a short that requires professional diagnosis.
- Further diagnosis: If the fuse is intact and power still does not reach the board, the power switch or main control board may be faulty and should be tested by a technician.
