Portafilter is difficult to lock in or cannot reach normal locking position on new gasket.

Safety first: Allow the group to cool before working.

• Clean group: Scrub the group recess thoroughly to remove old gasket residue and coffee oils.
• Check gasket size: Verify that the replacement is the correct Lelit group gasket model and thickness for your machine.
• Seat gasket properly: Ensure the gasket is fully pressed into the recess with the correct orientation.
• Test with OEM portafilter: If using a third-party portafilter, test with the original Lelit portafilter to rule out lug incompatibility.
