Capsule is not pierced correctly; water bypasses the capsule or leaks around it.

Safety first: Unplug the machine before placing fingers near the piercing needles.

• Check capsule type: Use only capsules compatible with your Magimix model (e.g., Nespresso Original for compatible machines).
• Inspect piercing needles: Open the lever and visually inspect the needles. Clean them gently with a soft brush or the supplied cleaning tool.
• Clean brew head gasket: Wipe the rubber gasket around the capsule chamber with a damp cloth to remove coffee residue.
• Ensure correct capsule placement: Insert the capsule fully and close the lever firmly until it locks.

If capsules continue to mis-pierce or leak, the brew head gasket or piercing plate may need replacement.
