Display shows CLEAN or a cleaning icon and the machine requests a cleaning cycle.

Safety first: Unplug the machine before cleaning the brew head or piercing needles.

• Run the automatic cleaning cycle: If your Magimix model supports it, insert a cleaning capsule or follow the manual to start the cleaning program. Use only approved cleaning tablets or capsules.
• Clean the brew head: Remove the drip tray and capsule container. Use a soft brush and warm water to clean around the brew head and outlet spout. Wipe with a damp cloth.
• Clean piercing needles: On capsule machines, carefully clean the capsule piercing needles with a soft brush or the tool supplied by Magimix. Do not use needles or pins that could damage them.
• Flush with water: Run several cycles of hot water (without coffee or capsules) to rinse the internal coffee path.

After cleaning, the CLEAN indicator should clear automatically or after a reset sequence described in the manual.
