Display shows a lock symbol or LOCK and buttons do not respond.

Safety first: There is no electrical danger from the lock mode, but do not attempt to force buttons.

• Disable child lock: Refer to your Magimix manual. Typically, you must press and hold a specific button (or combination) for several seconds to unlock (for example, holding the main power and espresso buttons together).
• Clean the control panel: Wipe the buttons with a slightly damp cloth to remove sticky residues that may cause them to stick.
• Power reset: Unplug the machine for 5 minutes, then plug it back in and try the unlock sequence again.

If the lock symbol will not clear, the keypad or control board may be defective and should be checked by a technician.
