Possible Causes
Damaged water tank outlet seal, Cracked water tank, Debris on tank valve, Worn tank-to-body gasket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine and remove the water tank.
- Inspect the tank outlet: Check the rubber seal and valve at the bottom of the tank for cracks, deformation, or debris.
- Clean the seal: Rinse the outlet area with warm water and gently wipe with a soft cloth. Remove any coffee grounds or scale.
- Check for cracks: Hold the tank up to the light and look for hairline cracks, especially near the base and corners.
- Inspect the machine-side gasket: Look at the inlet where the tank sits on the machine. Clean any residue and check the gasket for damage.
If the tank or seals are damaged, replace the water tank assembly or gasket with a genuine Magimix part.
