Possible Causes

Cracked silicone hose, Loose hose clamp on pump or thermoblock, Perished O-ring on thermoblock outlet, Cracked water tank or tank seal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Immediately switch off and unplug the machine. Water inside the appliance can contact live parts.

  • Remove external parts: Take out the drip tray and water tank. Dry any visible water around the base.
  • Inspect the tank: Fill the tank and hold it over a sink to check for cracks or leaks around the outlet valve.
  • Check for external drips: With the tank removed, look into the machine cavity for signs of water trails or mineral deposits that indicate internal leaks.
  • Do not continue using: If water is clearly coming from inside the machine body, do not power it on again. Internal hoses or seals must be replaced.

Internal leak repair involves opening the casing and working near mains-voltage components. Have a qualified technician replace any damaged hoses, clamps, or O-rings.
