Advertisements
Possible Causes
Burned-out indicator lamp or LED, Loose connection to indicator, Faulty switch with integrated light
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the coffee maker before accessing the switch area.
- Confirm function: Verify that the machine still heats and brews normally; only the light is affected.
- Access switch: Remove the base or side panel to reach the on/off rocker switch and indicator lamp.
- Inspect wiring: Check for loose or disconnected wires to the indicator. Reseat any loose connectors.
- Replace indicator or switch: If the lamp is integrated into the switch, replace the entire switch assembly with the correct Moccamaster part. If it is a separate LED or bulb, replace it with an equivalent component rated for the circuit.
