Safety first: Unplug before removing internal parts; normal filter handling can be done with power off.

• Adjust coffee dose: Use the scoop supplied with your Morphy Richards coffee maker and follow the recommended ratio (typically 1 level scoop per cup mark).
• Check filter fit: Ensure the paper filter is the correct size and is seated flat in the basket, with edges folded over the rim evenly.
• Clean shower head: Remove and clean the spray head above the filter basket to ensure even water distribution.
• For espresso models: Use a finer grind suitable for espresso and tamp evenly. Clean the portafilter basket holes thoroughly.

If coffee remains weak despite correct dosing and cleaning, the brew temperature may be low due to a failing thermostat or NTC sensor, which requires professional diagnosis.
