Possible Causes

Limescale blockage in aluminium heating tube, Blocked one-way valve, Clogged shower head, Debris in water inlet from tank

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker and let it cool completely before working on it.

  • Descale aggressively: Fill the tank with a strong descaling solution and start a brew cycle. If no flow, stop and let it soak for 30 minutes, then try again. Repeat several times to dissolve scale in the heating tube.
  • Clean shower head: Remove and clean the spray head above the filter basket, clearing any blocked holes.
  • Check water tank outlet: Inspect the outlet at the bottom of the removable tank (if fitted) for debris. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Internal inspection (advanced): Remove the base cover to access the aluminium heating tube and silicone hoses. Check the one-way valve for blockage and replace if stuck closed.

If water still does not flow, the heating tube may be completely blocked or damaged and will need replacement.
