Removable water tank is difficult to insert or remove; machine may not detect it properly.

Safety first: Unplug the machine before forcing the tank in or out.

• Clean rails and guides: Wipe the tank rails and guides on the machine body to remove scale or debris.
• Inspect tank body: Check the tank for warping or cracks that may cause binding. Replace if deformed.
• Check latch: Ensure the tank latch clicks into place when inserted. If the latch is broken, replace the tank.
• Align sensor actuator: On models with a mechanical switch, ensure the tank tab that presses the switch is not broken.

Forcing a misaligned tank can damage the housing; correct alignment or replace the tank as needed.
