How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the machine. Allow it to cool and depressurize before working on the steam wand.
- Clean wand tip: Unscrew the steam tip and soak it in descaler or hot soapy water. Use a pin to clear the nozzle holes.
- Purge wand: After reassembly, run steam for several seconds to clear any remaining water or debris.
- Descale steam circuit: Run a descaling solution through the steam circuit according to the manual.
- Check steam valve (advanced): Inspect the steam knob and internal valve linkage for proper movement. Replace the valve if it is seized.
If steam output remains weak, the steam thermostat or heater may be faulty and require service.
