Possible Causes
Stuck float in water tank, Magnetic float demagnetized, Reed switch failure on body, Dirty sensor window
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspecting the sensor area.
- Clean tank and float: Remove the water tank and wash it thoroughly. Move the float up and down to ensure free movement.
- Clean sensor area: Wipe the area of the machine where the tank sits, especially any clear windows or sensor points.
- Test without filter: Remove any in-tank water filter cartridge and test again to ensure it is not interfering with the float.
- Inspect reed switch (advanced): Inside the body, locate the reed switch aligned with the float magnet. Check wiring and replace the switch if it does not change state when a magnet is brought near.
If the sensor remains inaccurate, the float assembly or sensor circuit may need replacement.
