Possible Causes
Limescale buildup in heater tube, Clogged drip valve under filter basket, Coffee grounds blocking filter basket outlet, Partially clogged silicone tubing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and let the unit cool before cleaning.
- Descale thoroughly:
- Run a 1:1 vinegar-water descaling cycle, then rinse with 2–3 water-only cycles.
- Clean filter basket and drip-stop:
- Remove filter basket and wash with warm soapy water.
- Press the spring-loaded drip-stop valve under running water to clear residue.
- Use proper grind and filter:
- Avoid very fine espresso grind; use medium grind for drip coffee.
- Ensure paper filter is not doubled or collapsed.
If flow remains slow after descaling and cleaning, internal tubing may be restricted and require disassembly by a technician.
