Coffee maker leaks water from the bottom during or after brewing.

Safety first: Unplug the unit immediately and do not use it until the leak source is identified. Water inside electrical components is a shock and fire hazard.

• Confirm source:
  • Dry the exterior and place the unit on a dry paper towel.
  • Fill reservoir and observe where water appears.
• Check for overfilling:
  • Do not fill above the MAX line; excess can spill into internal cavities.

If water is clearly coming from the base, internal hoses or the heater are compromised. This requires disassembly and replacement of tubing or heater assembly by a qualified technician.
