Coffee tastes weak or watery even when using normal amounts of coffee.

• Adjust coffee and grind:
  • Use a medium grind suitable for drip coffee.
  • Increase coffee dose slightly (e.g., 1–2 extra tablespoons per full pot).
• Use strong brew setting:
  • If your Mr. Coffee has a STRONG or BOLD setting, enable it to slow the brew.
• Clean showerhead:
  • Remove the brew basket and inspect the water outlet holes above it.
  • Clean any clogged holes with a toothpick and wipe with a damp cloth.

If water is streaming from only one or two holes, the showerhead plate may be damaged and require replacement.
