Possible Causes
Firmware glitch in control PCB, Faulty temperature sensor on heating element, Shorted keypad or stuck button, Internal moisture on control board connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before any inspection.
- Power reset:
- Unplug the unit for at least 10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge.
- Plug back in and attempt to set time and start a simple brew cycle.
- Check for stuck buttons:
- Press each button on the control panel several times to ensure none are stuck.
- Wipe the panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Inspect for moisture:
- If the unit was recently overfilled or exposed to steam, allow it to dry for several hours in a warm, dry area.
If the error returns immediately after reset, the control board or temperature sensor is likely faulty. Replacement of the control PCB or sensor requires opening the housing and should be performed by a qualified technician.
