How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the brewer before handling the pod holder.
- Remove and clean pod holder:
- Take out the pod holder assembly.
- Rinse thoroughly under warm water, paying attention to the bottom and sides.
- Clean piercing needles:
- Use a straightened paper clip carefully to clear any coffee grounds from the top and bottom needles.
- Rinse again and reinstall the holder firmly.
- Test with a new pod:
- Insert a fresh, undamaged pod and close the lid firmly.
If the POD message remains, the internal pod sensor or microswitch may be defective and require service.
