• Initial cleaning:
  • Wash carafe, lid, and filter basket with hot soapy water.
  • Run 2–3 full brew cycles with just water, then 1 cycle with a mild vinegar solution, followed by 2 water-only cycles.

If strong chemical odor persists after several cleaning cycles, discontinue use and contact Mr. Coffee support, as internal plastics may be overheating.
