Water or coffee leaks from around the top of the filter basket or brew head.

Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before cleaning spilled coffee.

• Adjust coffee load:
  • Use medium grind coffee and do not exceed the recommended scoop amount.
• Check filter placement:
  • Ensure only one paper filter is used and it is seated properly in the basket.
• Clean basket outlet:
  • Remove basket and clean the outlet hole and drip-stop valve.
• Inspect gasket:
  • Check any rubber gasket around the basket or brew head for damage or misalignment.

Replace a torn or flattened gasket to restore a proper seal.
